Judy and I got married in Surrey in August 1976 in the middle of a heatwave. Philip and Margaret drove down in their open-topped car in full hot weather gear so needed to find somewhere to change into their wedding gear. Finding a quite street not far from the church, they parked up and changed on the side of the street. What they didn't realise was that they had managed to park outside Judy's parents house, so the bridal party had a great view.
